Complete waste of time. Came in yesterday for a strep throat and was told my meds would be available next day. Came back and nothing showed up for my meds completely unorganized
No changing tables for children. Shouldnt have to ask for an exam room. Nice staff and a nice building doesnt make up for it.
Although I'm not a patient at whittier my mom is and one thing she has trouble with is communicating with their dumb phone lines, my mom has been trying to call these people for a week for her annual mammogram checkup, you literally can't count on whittier health center at all, literally we had to call Dana Farber to get in contact with them, how is it that when patients call they don't pick up, but when when it's transferred from another hospital they pick up? I recommend anyone who is going for their annual mammography at whittier who is partnered with Dana farber, to call Dana Farber first because they are more reliable than the actual clinic, and maybe call Boston medical if Dana doesn't work and they'll transfer your call to them, horrible phone service, your leaving a message to people who you don't even know who's listening or if they are even going to respond back, another is when my mom gets blood work she doesn't get results from them saying her results came either good or bad, she finds out only when she calls or coincidence when she's doing an appointment, but please do something about having more people on phone lines, I really don't know why people are getting paid in this clinic if people don't pick up the phone calls, my mom's doctors also leave every year, they are never consistent, she has a new doctor every year making my mom switch to another because once your used to a doctor you don't want anybody else, they have lack of professionalism
I have been a patient at Whittier since 2002. It has been wonderful to watch the transformation. The staff are friendly and caring and the building is beautiful. I also use the gym which was opened recently. I like the diversity of the staff and I use the medical and dental services. Great community health care center!
I'm pretty sure these reviews are fake. Not only did the dentist office perform a wrong procedure on me and not apologize (which I reported to the board and it's being investigated), My doctor also forget to send my prescriptions and walked out in the middle of my appointment to attend a meeting. I have still been unable to get my prescriptions because there is no way to get in touch with the front office or nurses and when you leave them voicemails they don't bother getting back to you. I cannot wait to get different insurance and be done with this place for good. If I had the money I would be taking them to court for the tooth I've lost.
